Self Led Visits
A visit to the Museum can be a unique, exciting experience for your pupils and can be used to explore a wide range of topics. Support students learning about local history by visiting our exhibit dedicated to Middle Wallop or visit our 1940’s house to experience home-life during wartime.
The Army Flying Museum holds a fantastic collection of aircraft and artefacts, imaginative displays and interactives, all of which are ideal for all ages and expectations. Why not use the stories of the Army aviators to inspire your students creative writing.
We have several paper trails which can be used to support your students during your self-led visit, contact our Learning Officer to find a trail best suited to your visit – education@armyflying.com
Duration
Self-led visits can be for a whole or half day. If you are staying for the whole day, our learning centre is available to be booked as a lunchroom as part of your visit, subject to availability. Please contact our Learning Officer to book this facility.
