An Officer And Her Gentleman

7pm Thursday 29th January

Two aviators, two cockpits, one journey - an inspiring story of achieving dreams in the face of obstacles.

Hear husband and wife team, Craig and Mandy Hickson, join forces to chart their experience as aviators in the military and beyond. A follow-up to Mandy’s previous talk, ’An Officer, Not A Gentleman’ – Mandy, a frontline pioneer female RAF Fast Jet Pilot, and Craig, a Royal Navy Helicopter Pilot, will cover key themes of resilience, teamwork and breaking barriers.

Join Mandy and Craig in the Museum on Thursday 29th January to find out about decision-making under pressure, leadership, resilience and the humour needed to reach beyond the skies. You will be able to buy a copy of their new book, 'An Officer And Her Gentleman' on the night and get it signed.

There is also the option to book a pre-lecture dinner of Sausage, Mash, Peas and Gravy in our Apache Café at 6pm. There will be a vegetarian option available. Please note, meal bookings must be made by Tuesday 27th January.
