Salisbury-based company IS Accountancy, are delighted to announce their continued support for the Army Flying Museum in Middle Wallop, Hampshire by extending their corporate partnership.

Director of IS Accountancy, Ian Sheekey said “Our partnership with the Army Flying Museum is so important to us as part of our mission as a business for good and to protect what matters. We are all stewards and custodians of the resources, landscapes, and history the land around us holds, and we believe in leaving a meaningful legacy and a thriving future for generations to come”

Amongst many other exhibits, the Army Flying Museum houses a complete collection of every allied glider used operationally during the Second World War and having recently visited Pegasus Bridge, Ian experienced just how close to the bridge the Horsa Glider pilots managed to land. “The pilots demonstrated such skill, ingenuity and precision, enabling them to navigate the astounding wooden constructed aircraft to the calculated landing zone and achieve their mission. The pilot’s dashboard houses important navigational tools and vital data to understand how the aircraft is working, what needs adjustment and alerts when maintenance is required. At IS Accountancy, our team takes a similar analytical, holistic approach to accountancy, helping our clients precisely navigate their numbers to achieve their goals in business and life.”

“In order to achieve your goals you need to feel supported and safe in your numbers, confident in the knowledge that you can provide for your needs and your loved ones, now and in the future. At IS Accountancy we want to make life better for our clients and communities, many of whom have military backgrounds and links. We do this through the work that we do and how we do it. For every good thing that happens in our business we pay it forward, helping make life better locally and globally, for people we may never meet, and in places we may never travel to.”

The Company’s client base is spread mainly across Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset, supporting businesses through every stage of their lifecycle, including ex-military personnel who have set up their own businesses as part of their full transition into civilian life. The partnership with the Museum is therefore a positive one for the company in forging strong relationships with the many veterans and their families who visit the Museum on a regular basis.

As a corporate member, IS Accountancy will enjoy a range of benefits, allowing colleagues, clients and stakeholders to share a deep connection with the Museum and its community.
