The team from the Army Flying Museum at Middle Wallop are getting ready to entertain their visitors with lots of Halloween fun and creepy creatures this half term.
The team are hoping young visitors will be ‘bugging’ their parents to bring them along to the Museum to get involved in lots of great craft activities and creative trails throughout half term including a new Egyptian Trail and the popular Bat Hunt.
The Museum are also pleased to welcome Crazy Creatures to the Museum on Thursday 29 October, giving everyone the opportunity to see nature brought to life with their amazing creatures from around the world. Through their fun, educational and interactive display, young visitors will be able to get up close and personal with some of the most fascinating species.
Popular model making sessions are also back on 26 October and 1st November to keep everyone busy, with another very special ‘Meccano in the Museum’ on Wednesday 28 October. All activities throughout the week are included in the free annual pass offered by the Museum.
Lucy Johnson, CEO of the Army Flying Museum said: “We always enjoy offering a variety of free family activities during the school holidays as this gives visitors real added value for their annual passes and it is great to see so many people returning time and again to experience what the Museum has to offer. We are so pleased to welcome Crazy Creatures back to the Museum as we know it is always a huge hit with lots of our younger visitors.”
Everyone that visits the Museum only needs to pay once to receive a free annual pass. This incentive has proved to be extremely popular with residents around Hampshire and Wiltshire area who have seen real value for their passes over the last twelve months, with a significant increase in the number of activities being offered by the Museum.
