Youth Groups

We can offer a variety of fun-filled activities for your group to learn something exciting, work towards their badges and have a great time. Each visit includes a tour of the Museum and ends with the Helicopters in Action show. Each child will be given a Badge activity book to take away. We are flexible and can tailor your visit to your requirements.

In addition to your tour, for the Scouting Association, you can choose two activities from:

  • Marshalling and airfield safety activity
  • Phonetic alphabet activity
  • Pilot log book trail and spot the aircraft activity
  • Quiz a pilot ( subject to availability)

For groups from the Girl Guide Association, we can discuss which activities you will require.

The cost is £6 per child. With each group the first 5 leaders are free, thereafter they are charged at £6.

Scouting or Girl Guiding Association Groups

We welcome cadet groups and can help to focus your visit by providing self-led STEM trails that follow the layout of the Museum.
