This summer, the Army Flying Museum will host an exciting 5-day aviation holiday club in partnership with British Young Pilots — designed for young people fascinated by military aviation, fast jets, and the world of flying.
Set within the unique surroundings of the Army Flying Museum, students will immerse themselves in a week of hands-on aviation experiences inspired by real military operations. From mission planning and test flying to tactical navigation and air traffic control, students will step into the shoes of military pilots, planners, and aviation professionals.
Throughout the week, participants can expect exciting themed activities (subject to change), including:
- Fast Jets & Formation Flying
- Military Mission Planning
- Test Pilot Challenges
- Army Aviation Operations
- Air Traffic Control
Students will also enjoy simulator flying, military-inspired mission scenarios, teamwork challenges, navigation exercises, and practical aviation activities designed to build confidence, curiosity, and problem-solving skills.
