Looking for an exciting and educational experience for your students with hands-on STEM learning in a fun, engaging environment?
The Leonardo STEM event is a FREE event for Year 8 students to explore aerospace technology with interactive activities! The event is facilitated by our Corporate Partners, Leonardo Helicopters in conjunction with our Museum Learning team.
What's in store?
- experience the wonder of the RAF Eurofighter up close using VR headsets
- find out about ‘Search and Rescue’
- take part in a helicopter design activity
- ‘What is an Engineer’ presentation
- STEM trail
- learn about the technology and science behind the Apache helicopter
- assemble a helicopter engine using the Museum’s GEM Engine interactive
This is a FREE event which takes place between 10am-2.15pm on Tuesday 28th January 2025. As places are limited, there is a maximum capacity of 35 students per school. If you would like to bring your pupils along to this event, please complete the expression of interest form by clicking on the button below. All expressions of interest must be received by Friday 25th October and all successful schools will be notified by Monday 11th November.
