Wallop Wheels & Wings 2023

10am to 4.30pm Saturday 1st July

Our annual flagship fundraising event is back and this year promises to be bigger and better than before. The event will showcase a spectacular display of classic aircraft, super and classic cars, and motorcycles. In a change to the event this year, visitors will see aircraft flying into and out of the airfield throughout the day weather permitting.

For non-enthusiasts, there will be the opportunity to browse the artisan trader village, with over 40 stalls selling a wide range of arts, crafts, food and drink, including a return to the event from Hampshire Fare, who will be in attendance celebrating the start of the Hampshire Food Festival.

Activities for families and children will be in abundance, with laser tag, circus skills, pedal planes, mini tanks, face painting and lots of craft and interactive activities to keep little ones busy throughout the day.

We’re delighted that Rolls-Royce are sponsoring this year’s event as a Silver Sponsor. They will be bringing their STEM trailer to the event.  In addition, the Museum are thrilled to announce that the Mk XIX Spitfire and P51 Mustang from the Rolls-Royce Heritage Flight will be making an appearance at the event. There will also be flypasts by one of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight's Spitfires and Navy Wings' Swordfish, weather permitting.

Full price ticket holders will automatically receive an *annual pass enabling them to visit the Museum free of charge as many times as they like for the next 12 months (*does not include entry on special event days). Please be aware, there is limited entry to the Museum on the day which is restricted to those who have upgraded their ticket to include Museum entry on Saturday 1st July 2023.

Aircraft enthusiasts, buy a ticket for the Castle Cameras’ Photography Enclosure to get the best shots. You’ll get exclusive access to the enclosure from 07.30 for aircraft arrivals, coffee and bacon bap (or veggie option), as well as for aircraft departures. You will have access to the event throughout the day and receive an annual pass to the Museum.
