Create a story character puppet at our craft sessions daily between 10.30 & 13.30 from Monday 29th May to Friday 2nd June.

For younger visitors, there will be a daily story-telling session in the soft play area. Come along at 2pm from Monday 29th May to Friday 2nd June to enjoy a different aviation themed story each day.

Half term week opens with a fun model making sessions with ‘Models for Heroes’.  The session is included in general admission although donations to the charity are welcome. The sessions are open to all ages and will invite visitors to learn how to make and paint plastic models to take home with them.  Sessions will take place on Saturday 27 May from 10am-3.30pm. The session will be repeated on Thursday 1st June between 10am & 3.30pm.

On Monday 29 May, the Museum is holding one of its regular  ‘Noise Off’ mornings from 9am-12.30pm to enable people with sensory processing issues to explore the Museum in a quieter environment. We would advise visitors who wish to experience our usual sound effects and Helicopters in Action show to avoid visiting on this morning.

All the activities will run alongside the regular dress up stations, pilot’s logbook trail, jigsaws, interactive exhibits and of course, the opportunity to sit inside some of our helicopters. Plus, the chance to let off steam in our indoor and outdoor play areas.

All activities are included with a general admission ticket which gives visitors a free annual pass to the Museum.
